Ellen Scalettar is an American lawyer and politician who served in the Connecticut House of Representatives from 1993 to 1999, representing the 114th district.[1][2]
Scalettar studied at City College of New York and at University of Maryland School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor.[2] Prior to her involvement in Connecticut politics, Scalettar worked as a private practice lawyer and as counsel to the Environmental Protection Agency.[3]
