Elvin Negron

Elvin Negron (born 1978) is a Puerto Rican writer known for short story collections that incorporate musical themes.[1] His work has received recognition from the International Latino Book Awards and PEN Puerto Rico Internacional.[2][3][4][5][6]

Biography

He earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering in 2000, an MBA in 2009, and a master's degree in creative writing in 2020, receiving the Pórtico Medal for academic excellence.[2][5]

His published books include the short story collections Alicorne (2015) and Pléilist (2020)[7], as well as the hybrid literary work Hostia y circo (2024). In 2025 he was elected president of PEN de Puerto Rico Internacional.[6][8][9][10]
