The Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of India to the United Arab Emirates, located in Abu Dhabi. It is headed by the Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates, Deepak Mittal.[1]
Diplomatic relations between India and the United Arab Emirates were established in 1972, shortly after the formation of the UAE in 1971.[3] The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi was established in 1973, with S. E. H. Rizvi appointed as the first ambassador in June 1973.[4]
