Emma Harvie is an Australian actress. She is best known for playing Chaya Batra on Seven Network’s RFDS and Megan in Colin from Accounts.

Early life

Harvie was born in Sydney. She is a graduate of ACAs Full Time Course.[1] Harvie is of Sri-Lankan descent. She has wanted to become an actress since she was in primary school. Her dream role would be Liam Neeson’s character Bryan Mills in Taken.[2]

Career

Harvie’s first recurring role of her career was when she played Emily in the British-Australian comedy series Frayed.[3] Her first big role came when she played Chaya Batra in the drama series RFDS.[4] Her most famous role so far has been as Megan in Colin from Accounts.[5] For her performance as Megan she has received the Casting Guild of Australia award which has previously been won by stars such as Milly Alcock, Olivia DeJonge and Katherine Langford.[6] She is currently set to appear in a short called Luna and the Brain Tuna.
