Eric Downing

Eric Lamont Downing (born September 16, 1978), is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played for Syracuse and was selected in the third round of the 2001 NFL Draft.[1]

Early life and college
Downing attended John F. Kennedy High School, in Paterson, New Jersey, where he was selected for the first-team All-State.[2]
Downing played college football at Syracuse University for Paul Pasqualoni. He was named to the ALL-Big East team in 2000.[3]
