Plot
Julio César (Enrique Herrera) is a highly successful but intensely nervous horror radio-play writer who ironically suffers from extreme, debilitating fears of his own scary creations. To seek treatment and calm his nerves, his psychiatrist, Dr. Jiménez, prescribes a stay at a quiet sanatorium where he can recuperate in absolute peace. Eager to protect his professional reputation and public persona, Julio César decides to travel under the pseudonym "Justiniano Conquián." Unbeknownst to the writer, an eccentric, absent-minded taxidermist happens to share the exact same name of Justiniano Conquián. This taxidermist is the rightful heir to a massive family fortune, but his inheritance comes with a bizarre catch: according to the late patriarch's will, he must successfully survive living for an entire month inside the family's notoriously haunted castle. Desperate to steal the wealth for themselves, a greedy cousin of the real Justiniano bribes Dr. Jiménez to alter the travel arrangements. As a result of the scheme, Julio César is intentionally misdirected and arrives at the spooky, trap-filled Conquián castle, fully believing it to be his intended medical sanatorium. He is immediately thrust into a chaotic house of horrors alongside an array of eccentric, money-hungry relatives who are actively scheming against each other for the inheritance. Navigating secret passageways, alleged hauntings, and escalating family betrayals, the terrified writer must inadvertently survive the dangerous internal battles of the Conquián family while mistaking the very real threats around him for unconventional psychological therapy.
