Farlowella hasemani is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Loricariidae, the suckermouth armored catfishes, and the subfamily Loricariinae, the mailed catfishes.[2] This catfish is endemic to Brazil where it is found in Pará.[1] This species reaches a standard length of 17 cm (6.7 in).[3]
The specific name honors the American zoologist and explorer John Diederich Haseman, who collected the holotype.[4]
