Fernando Antonio Saavedra Valencia (born in 1986) is a Chilean former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.

He began his career with Deportes La Serena[1] and his last club was Everton.

Between 2006 and 2007, he played for Quilmes of the Primera División Argentina.

He retired at the end of the 2022 season.[2]

Post-retirement

Saavedra has worked as coach for the municipal football academies of Viña del Mar.[3]
