The Firearms Act 1937 (1 Edw. 8 & 1 Geo. 6. c. 12) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments related to firearms, imitation firearms, and ammunition in Great Britain.[1]

Repealed enactments

Section 34(2) of the act repealed 4 enactments, listed in the fourth schedule to the act.[2]

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed by section 59(1) of, and schedule 7 to, the Firearms Act 1968 (1968 c. 27), which came into force on 1 August 1968.[3]
