First Amin al-Hafiz Government

The First Amin al-Hafiz Government ruled Syria from November 1963 to May 1964. The Cabinet of Syria was led by then-Prime Minister Amin al-Hafiz.[1] This government was the 63rd since Syria gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1918.[2][3] It was formed on 12 November 1963 by Decree No. 1424 issued by the NCRC and dissolved on 13 May 1964.
