First Rail London is a future train operating company owned by FirstGroup that is due to commence operating the London Overground contract in May 2026.
Transport for London shortlisted Arriva, FirstGroup, Go-Ahead Group and Transport UK for the next London Overground contract:[1]
In December 2025, FirstGroup was awarded the contract with First Rail London due to take over from Arriva Rail London on 3 May 2026.[2][3][4]
