Freetown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Pershing Township, Jackson County, Indiana, United States.[3] As of the 2020 census, Freetown had a population of 369.[4]
Freetown was platted in 1850.[5] A post office was established at Freetown in 1850.[6]
The Frank Wheeler Hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.[7]
