Fu Chronicles is the seventh studio album by American band Antibalas. Written and conceptualized by lead singer Duke Amayo. Arranged and co-produced by Antibalas founder Martin Perna and bassist/founding member Gabriel Roth, the album was recorded at the Daptone House of Soul in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the summer of 2018 and later released on February 7, 2020 on Daptone.[4]
In support of the album, the band announced a tour[5] which was cut short by the pandemic. The final show of the tour was at the Summit Music Hall in Denver, Colorado.[6] During the pandemic shutdown in 2021 Amayo and the band announced their formal separation.[7]
