Gabriel Kotliar

Gabriel Kotliar (born 1957) is a physicist at Rutgers University in the United States, where he is Board of Governors Professor of Physics.[1]

Kotliar was born in Argentina. He studied in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he received a B.Sc. degree in Physics and Mathematics in 1979, followed by an M.Sc. in Physics under the tutelage of Daniel Amit in 1980. He then moved to Princeton University, where he received his PhD in Physics in 1983 while working with Prof. Philip Warren Anderson.
