Gael Grunewald

Gael Grunewald (born 18 December 1964) is the Head of the Department of Education at the World Zionist Organization. He previously served as the Head of the Settlement Division of the World Zionist Organization and as the Deputy Chairman of KKL. Grunewald also held the position of Secretary General of World Bnei Akiva.

Grunewald was born in France and grew up in Paris. After graduating from the Etz-Haim Yeshiva in Switzerland, he made Aliyah to Israel and joined the IDF. Following his military service, he returned to France to teach and coordinate the Bnei Akiva youth movements. He later moved back to Israel to pursue a degree in computer engineering and science teaching. During this period, he worked for five years with World Bnei Akiva and managed the Jewish Agency's Counselors Training Institute.
