Gairnieston Castle From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Medieval castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland Gairnieston Castle or Garniston Castle was a medieval castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[1][2] No traces of it remain.[1] The castle was the seat of the chief of clan Dalgarno.[1] Structure The castle stood on the right bank of a stream.
