Garlate (Brianzöö: Garlàa) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,630 and an area of 2.1 square kilometres (0.81 mi2).[3]
