Gaspar Terteryan

Gaspar Terteryan (born December 27, 2005) is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a World and European champion and medalist at the youth and junior levels.[1][2]

Biography
Gaspar Terteryan was born on December 27, 2005, in the village of Aknashen in the Armavir Province of Armenia. He is currently a student at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.
Terteryan achieved his first major international success in 2022 at the World U17 Championships held in Rome, Italy, where he won the gold medal in the 60 kg weight category.[3] That same year, he won a bronze medal at the European U17 Championships in Bucharest, Romania.
In 2023, he began competing in the U20 (Junior) age group in the 67 kg weight category. That year, he secured a bronze medal at the European U20 Championships and became a silver medalist at the World U20 Championships.
In 2024, at the European U20 Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia, Terteryan won the silver medal.
At the 2025 World U20 Wrestling Championships held in Sofia, Bulgaria, Gaspar Terteryan reached the pinnacle of his junior career by winning the World Title.[4]
In 2026, competing at the senior level, he won the bronze medal in the 72 kg category at the 2026 European Wrestling Championships held in Tirana, Albania.
