Gemerek is a town in Sivas Province of Turkey. It is the seat of Gemerek District.[2] Its population is 10,195 (2022).[1] The mayor is Sezai Çelikten (Independent).

Gemerek has a dry-summer continental climate (Köppen: Dsb/Dsa),[3] with hot, dry summers, nevertheless with cool nights, and cold, snowy winters.[4]
