"Gartred" is a rare variation (attested in Daphne du Maurier's novel The King's General, set in 17th-century Cornwall, England).[1][2]

"Gertruda" is a rare variation used in the Soviet Union (see Names of Soviet origin) as an abbreviation of Geroy truda (the Hero of Labour).[3]
