Serobyan was born on November 9, 2002. He resides in the village of Krasnolesye, Republic of Crimea.[1]
In October 2021, he was awarded the title of "Master of Sports of Russia".[2]
In December 2019, he participated in the European Youth (U17) Championships. He secured a victory and set three new European records.[3]
At the 2022 Russian Weightlifting Championships held in Khabarovsk, Gevorg won the bronze medal in the 73 kg category for the first time in his career, with a total lift of 305 kg.[4]
At the 2023 Russian Weightlifting Championships in Novy Urengoy, Serobyan repeated his success and won the bronze medal with a total weight of 316 kg.
In July 2024, at the Russian Championships in Novosibirsk, Gevorg became a bronze medalist for the third consecutive time in the 73 kg category.
In August 2025, at the Russian Championships in Saint Petersburg, he won a bronze medal in the 81 kg category with a total of 332 kg. He placed first in the snatch.
In February 2026, at the Russian Cup in Lyubertsy, he won the 81 kg category with a total of 332 kg. In April 2026, at the 2026 European Weightlifting Championships held in Batumi, Gevorg won the gold medal in the 79 kg category with a total of 341 kg. He also placed first in the snatch with a European record of 161 kg.
