Giants Being Lonely is a 2019 drama film directed by Grear Patterson, written by Patterson and produced by Olmo Schnabel.[1] The film is a bildungsroman about two boys on a high school baseball team dealing with the struggles of adolescence in a rural part of the American South.[2][3] The film is the directorial debut of Patterson, who was best known as a painter and mixed media artist prior to this.[4]
The film premiered at the 76th Venice International Film Festival[5] and was part of the 2020 Official Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival.[6][7]
