Giorgi Sulava (Georgian: გიორგი სულავა, born 15 May 1997) is a Georgian freestyle wrestler who competes in the 74 kg weight class. He won a bronze medal at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships and has also earned medals in U23 and international tournaments.[1]
Sulava competed in the men's freestyle 74 kg category at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. He won the bronze medal by defeating Armenia’s Hrayr Alikhanyan with a score of 17–5 in the third place match.[2]
Earlier in his career, he won a silver medal at the 2020 Yasar Dogu Tournament in Istanbul. He also earned bronze medals at the 2018 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest and at both the 2018 European U23 Wrestling Championships (70 kg) and 2019 European U23 Wrestling Championships (74 kg).[citation needed]
