Giồng Trôm district

Giồng Trôm is a rural district of Bến Tre province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019 the district had a population of 169,987.^[1][2] The district covers an area of 311 km². The district capital lies at Giồng Trôm.^[2] This district is the home country of Phan Văn Trị. The commune Mỹ Thạnh has the famous speciality: Mỹ Lồng rice paper.
