Gogulapadu is a village in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Gurazala mandal of Gurazala revenue division.[3]

The famous battle Palnati Yudhdham (War of Palnadu) took place between Gurazala and Macherla between 1176 AD – 1182 AD at Karempudi (Yuddabhoomi).

Geography

Gogulapadu is situated to the east of the mandal headquarters, Gurazala,[4] at 16°35′N 79°34′E / 16.58°N 79.57°E / 16.58; 79.57. It is spread over an area of 3,026 ha (7,480 acres).[1]
