Golden Tempo
American racehorse, winner of the 2026 Kentucky Derby

Golden Tempo (foaled February 7, 2023) is an American thoroughbred racehorse. He is owned by the Phipps Stable of Daisy Phipps Pulito.[1] He is trained by Cherie DeVaux, the first female trainer to win the Derby.[2][3]

He won the 2026 Kentucky Derby, jockeyed by José Ortiz.[1] Before the race, Golden Tempo's odds were given at 23-1. Deep into the race, Golden Tempo was far behind the leader, but moved forward to take the lead down the stretch.[4]
