Gomer Hughes (13 May 1910[4]14 November 1974) was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for Wales and Wales XV, and at club level for Tonmawr RFC and Penarth RFC, as a lock,[1][2] and representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Swinton, as a prop, or second-row.[3][5]

Hughes was born in Neath, Glamorgan, and he died aged 64 in Salford, Greater Manchester, England.
