Goyenia electa is a species of Desidae spider that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
This species was described in 1970 by Ray Forster from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Canterbury Museum.[1]
Description
The male is recorded at 5.01mm in length whereas the female is 5.86mm. The carapace and abdomen are coloured yellowish brown. The abdomen also has blackish markings dorsally.[1]
