Campbell initially auditioned for the role of Bret (played by Igby Rigney), as well as reading for the roles of Matt Kellner and Robert Mallory (played by Owen Painter and Homer Gere respectively), before Murphy cast him as Thom.[2] The series premiered in August 2026.[5]
