The Copa de Oro - Alfredo Lalor (also known as the Gran Premio Copa de Oro) is a Group 1 thoroughbred horse race run at Hipódromo de San Isidro in Argentina, open to horses four years old or older. It is run over a distance of 2400 metres (1.5 mi) on the turf and is considered the last major prep race for older horses for the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini.[1]
'Alfredo Lalor' was added to the name of the race in 2003 in honor of Alredo Lalor, president of the Argentine Jockey Club.[2]
