The Gran Premio Copa de Plata is a Group 1 horse race run at Hipódromo de San Isidro open to fillies and mares three years old or older. It is currently run over a distance of 2000 metres (1.2 mi) on the turf, and is one of the most important races for fillies and mares in Argentina, being sometimes known as the "Pellegrini de las yeguas" ("Pelligrini of the mares")[1] or "El Pellegrini de las Hembras" ("The Pellegrini of the Females"),[2] after the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini.

The Gran Premio Copa de Plata has been run as a Group 1 race since at least 1980.[3]
