Gregg Schmedes is an American physician and politician who served as a member of the New Mexico Senate from the 19th district from 2021 to 2024. He previously served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from the 22nd district, which includes portions of Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Santa Fe counties.[1]
Schmedes was born and raised in Texas.[2] He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and Doctor of Medicine from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.[3]
