Guido Novak von Arienti (21 January 1859 - 15 August 1928) was an Austrian officer who served in the Austro-Hungarian army in the First World War.
Novak was born in Milan as the son of an Austrian naval officer. He graduated from the Infantry Cadet School at Karthaus near Brno and entered military service as a cadet in Infantry Regiment Holstein Number 80 on 1 September 1878 . In 1910, after nearly 30 years of military service, he was elevated to nobility and took the surname 'von Arienti'.[1]
