Guillermo Ladislao Arthur Errázuriz (born 11 May 1948) is a Chilean lawyer and politician, and a founding member of the Independent Democratic Union (UDI) in 1983. He served as Minister of Labor from 1988 to 1989 during the military government of General Augusto Pinochet.[1]
He later served as president of the Chilean Pension Fund Administrators Association (AAFP) from 1999 to 2014.[1][2]
Arthur was born in Santiago, Chile, on 11 May 1948, the son of Guillermo Arthur Aránguiz and Gloria Errázuriz Pereira.[1] He completed legal studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, specialising in labour and social security law. He later pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Chicago.[1]
