Hamdan Al-Shamrani (Arabic: حمدان الشمراني; born 14 February 1996) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Al-Ula and the Saudi Arabia national team.[2]

Career

He started his youth career with Al-Ahli in 2009 at the age of 12 and made his debut in the 2017 AFC Champions League. After 2 seasons with the first team, he joined fellow Pro League club Al-Faisaly on a three-year contract.[3] On 12 May 2019, Al-Shamrani joined Al-Ittihad.[4] On 9 August 2023, Al-Shamrani joined Al-Ettifaq on a one-year loan.[5] On 8 September 2023, Al-Shamrani joined Al-Ettifaq permanently in a deal which saw Faisal Al-Ghamdi join Al-Ittihad.[6] Al-Shamrani signed a four-year deal with Al-Ettifaq.[7] On 13 July 2024, Al-Shamrani joined newly promoted side Al-Kholood on a one-year loan.[8] On 8 August 2025, Al-Shamrani joined Al-Ula on a free transfer following his release from Al-Ettifaq.[9]

Al-Shamrani received his first call-up for the Saudi Arabia national team for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.[10]
