Raised in Herne Bay, Waldock joined the Gillingham academy at age 11.[2]

The club can confirm that Harry has been recalled by his parent club, Gillingham FC, as he joins their first team squad this weekend ahead of their fixture against Cambridge United FC. Harry has been absolutely pivotal to our campaign this season. His energy and drive in midfield, fearless attitude, and consistent quality have made him a huge presence for the team. And of course, few will forget that incredible volley away at Welling United FC - a moment that perfectly captured his ability and determination. We would also like to thank Gillingham FC for their continued trust in this management group to help develop their young talent. Harry, we are incredibly proud of everything you've contributed during your time here. We wish you nothing but the very best for the next stage of your journey. You and your family will always be welcome back at Flamingo Park. 👏⚽" (Tweet). Retrieved 22 March 2026 – via X (formerly Twitter).
