Hartmut Derendorf

Hartmut Derendorf (August 6, 1953 – November 23, 2020) was a German-American pharmacist and clinical pharmacologist, a distinguished emeritus professor of pharmaceutics at University of Florida.[1][2] A significant figure in his field, Derendorf published over 20 papers each with over 100 citations.[3]
He was born on August 6, 1953, in Dortmund, Germany. He obtained his B.S. in 1976 and his PhD from University of Münster in 1979.[4]
Derendorf died unexpectedly on November 23, 2020, while enjoying retirement in the United States.[5]
