Hedong Reservoir (simplified Chinese: 合东水库; traditional Chinese: 合東水庫; pinyin: Hédōng Shuǐkù) is a medium-sized reservoir in Hutian Town, Xiangxiang, Hunan, China.[1] It covers a total surface area of 2.07 square kilometres (510 acres). Its drainage basin is about 4,000 km2 (1,500 sq mi), and it can hold up to 2,800,000 m3 (0.00067 cu mi) of water at full capacity.[2] It is the largest body of water and the largest freshwater lake in Hutian Town.
The dam is 39 m (128 ft) high.[2]
