Heinz Bachmann

Heinz Bachmann (1924 – 22 April 2022)[1] was a mathematician who worked at the Eidgenössische Sternwarte (federal observatory) in Zürich. He introduced the Bachmann–Howard ordinal and ordinal collapsing functions.
