Helen Faison (July 13, 1924–June 17, 2015) was an American educator with a long career with the Pittsburgh Public Schools, rising from teacher to the superintendent of Pittsburgh Public Schools. She was the first African American and the first woman to become superintendent of district schools.[1][2]
