The Ammonite Snail (Helenoconcha relicta) is a species of small air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Charopidae. It is endemic to Saint Helena, and is the only Helenoconcha species remaining.[1]

The species was first discovered in 1967 by the members of the Belgian entomological expedition, and was eventually described by George Alan Solem in 1977.[2] The epithet of the species' scientific name, relicta, translates to "relict", as it was reportedly the only Helenoconcha species recorded during the expedition.[3]
