Style of play

El-Helwe is a versatile striker who can also play as a winger on both sides.[60] Notwithstanding his height of 1.86 m (6.1 ft), which makes him good at holding play, he is a quick player who runs in behind the defence.[61] El-Helwe is also a good finisher in the box.[61] SV Meppen's sporting director, Heiner Beckmann, described El-Helwe as "physically strong, quick and very versatile in attack" upon signing for the club in 2019.[22]
