Hindolo Thomas Eric Mustapha (born 29 July 2006) is a footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for EFL Championship team West Bromwich Albion on loan from Crystal Palace.[2] Born in England, he represents Sierra Leone internationally.
Mustapha joined the youth academy of English Premier League side Crystal Palace at under–9 age level.[3] On 26 August 2025, he signed a new contract with the club and was then loaned out to 2. Bundesliga side 1. FC Nürnberg.[4] In October 2026, Mustapha was criticised by manager Miroslav Klose for his professionalism and attitude, encouraging him to work to become part of the first team.[5] However, in January 2026, Mustapha returned from his loan having not made a first team appearance for the German club.[6]
On 2nd February 2026, he joined West Bromwich Albion on loan for the rest of the 2025–26 season.[2]
International career
Mustapha is a Sierra Leone international and during September and October 2024, he played in the qualification rounds for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.[7][8]
Style of play
African news website Foot Africa wrote in 2025 that he "has been a constant influence, dictating the tempo and surging forward when needed. His playing style is winning admirers, as is his maturity on the pitch" while playing for the club.[9]
