Hispa ramosa, is a species of leaf beetle native to India (Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal), Nepal, Sri Lanka,[1][2][3][4] Afghanistan, China (Anhui, Hainan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Xikang, Yunnan), Indonesia (Java), Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. Vietnam.

Description
The species contains black pronotum and elytra.[5]
Life history
The recorded host plants for this species are Cholum, Sorghum and Centotheca species, as well as Imperata cylindrica major.[6]
