History
The church, an example of Gothic Revival architecture,[1] was built in 1870; the architect was Raphael Brandon.[2] A tower by Charles Lock Luck (1833/34–90), dating from 1880, was removed in about 1970[2] for safety reasons.[1]
A 1950s-vintage meeting room complex north west of the church was replaced in 1992.[1]
