Homalocantha is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[2]
The placement of this genus in the subfamily Muricopsinae is doubtful, but the radula characters make it belong definitely in the family Muricidae.[2]
