Plot
The bumbling petty thieves Ángel Pastor (Enrique Herrera) and Inocente Cordero (Leopoldo 'Chato' Ortín) decide to join forces as official criminal partners. Their ironic surnames, which translate to "Angel Pastor" and "Innocent Lamb," contrast heavily with their new ambition to graduate from minor schemes to large-scale, high-stakes heists.Through a chaotic string of errors and a stolen getaway vehicle, the incompetent duo inadvertently runs away to a sprawling country estate. There, they cross paths with Don Espiridión Espérides (Joaquín Pardavé) and a wealthy, high-society woman named Marta (Consuelo Frank). While hiding out at the estate under false pretenses, Ángel and Inocente find themselves entangled with a dangerous gang of professional jewel thieves who are targeting the property. As both con men fall deeply in love with the women at the estate, they undergo a profound moral awakening. Instead of executing their own robbery, the reformed duo leverages their criminal knowledge to outsmart and thwart the actual jewel thieves, ultimately saving the estate and cementing their path to redemption.
