Hortipes licnophorus is a species of spider in the family Corinnidae.[2] It is endemic to South Africa.[3]

Hortipes licnophorus is endemic to Mpumalanga province in South Africa.[3] It is known only from the type locality at Mariepskop.[3]

Habitat and ecology

The species inhabits the Savanna biome at 1,431 m above sea level.[3] It is strongly associated with leaf litter in forest habitats, specifically in Northern Escarpment Quartzite Sourveld.[3]
