Hortipes rothorum is a species of spider in the family Corinnidae.[2] It is endemic to South Africa.[3]

Hortipes rothorum is endemic to KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa.[3] It is known only from the type locality at Jackson's Falls on the Mhlatuzana River.[3]

Habitat and ecology

The species inhabits the Savanna biome at 583 m above sea level.[3] It is found in leaf litter in woodland habitats.[3]
