Hoàng Nguyên Thanh (born in 1995 in Bình Phước Province, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese marathoner, who has won five Vietnamese national championships in men's marathon.[1] He is also the first Vietnamese runner to have ever won a gold medal in the men's marathon at the SEA Games, winning in 2021.[2] He finished the marathon in 2:25:08, faster than the second-placed Prayogo by 30 seconds.
